The Farm Animals
WINTER
Winter is our beautiful Jersey/Holstein dairy heifer calf. Her birthday is in January and we are excited to breed to her when she’s ready. Winter loves all animals and she’s so incredibly intelligent. She loves food and has just learned all about how amazing fruits and vegetables are. She could give kisses all day and I’m sure that I have the most exfoliated arms in all of Arizona. It’s awesome watching her grow and mature. You can’t miss the heart on her forehead and her other gorgeous markings. One day soon, Winter will be able to serve her family and provide nutritious dairy products.
RAMBO (white), IZZY (brown/black), Po (black/white), BILLY (brown)
Billy and Izzy are part of triplets. Sadly their brother, Milo, passed away years ago. Billy and Izzy are beautiful Nigerian Dwarf goats. Billy is so sweet and friendly. He loves to get scratches and chew on your clothing. Izzy is also sweet but she can be shy at first. Once she warms up she also loves scratches. Izzy is also known as The Bearded Lady!
Rambo and Po and are Nigerian Dwarf goats. They have the same dad but different moms. Po can be shy but he is also very sweet. Po loves Izzy and follows her around most days. Rambo is my baby. He has the kindest heart and he loves everyone. Rambo was diagnosed with kidney stones in March 2024 and we almost lost him. These days he is back to normal self and we make sure to keep a close eye on him.
KJ (orange/black) and Veronica (white/black)
Veronica and KJ are our beautiful Kune Kune pigs. They are reason for the saying, Attention Hogs! They love, love and they will follow you around until you pet them. I, myself, am the self proclaimed “pig whisperer” and by rubbing their bellies I can get them to lay down for a belly rub.
When KJ was little, he was raised in our backyard with our dogs. He used to come in through the dog door and sleep on the kitchen floor. These two have so much personality and they are so fun to be around. They both love oranges from our orange trees.
